Last Friday In Year Two we had a visitor. A lady came in dressed as a World War One nurse. She stayed with us the whole day and told us things she knew about WW1. We learnt lots of things from her, such as what periscopes were used for, and how horses and tanks were both used in the war!
We learned lots of facts about how many people were involved in the war and how it actually started! The whole day made us feel proud to be learning about remembrance but also sad to think of all the people whose lives were lost.
